Buying from Daisy Makes Books

Books and resources purchased in my Daisy Makes Books shop are not automatically eligible for cancellation, refunds or returns. Please see below for when you might be able to cancel an order, get a refund or return an item.

Faulty items

If the product you purchase is faulty I will send you a replacement within 14 days.

For digital items such as PDF books, this includes a file that you can’t ever open because it is corrupted. It does not include any damage after you have first successfully opened a file, or you not having the appropriate program to open the file.

For physical items such as printed books, this includes printing errors (such as missing pages or pages in the wrong order) and damage during shipping. Please send me a photo of the fault and your order number within 14 days of purchase.

Returns and cancellation

Digital products

Digital products can’t be cancelled or returned because they are considered delivered and used once I have sent them to you (or sent a download link). If you don’t receive the email or link with your product within 5 days of purchase, please contact me and I will send it again.

Physical products

Physical printed items cannot be returned if you change your mind, because they are made to order using a print-on-demand supplier.

However, if the item you receive is faulty (see above) I will send you a replacement.

Exceptions

There is a short time between placing your order and it going into production. If you need to cancel your order please contact me as soon as possible after you have paid for your order. If the item hasn’t yet been sent for print production I may be able to cancel your order and give you a refund.

At my discretion, I may accept a cancellation and refund request after your physical printed item has entered production. You must send me a cancellation request within 2 days of purchase. If the item has already been shipped to you it must be returned to me in saleable condition. The shipping cost you paid to receive your order will not be refunded. You will also need to pay the shipping cost of returning the item to me and you must pack the item well so that it is not damaged in transit.

Refunds

If you are entitled to a refund under this policy I will send the refund amount to you within 5 working days of the refund conditions being met. I can’t control how long it takes for the refund to show up in your account.
